Chairs for Change

Chairs for Change began as a student-led senior project with a simple goal: bring musicians together to make a meaningful impact in our community. Our ensemble unites high school and college musicians alongside professional performers and local band directors in a collaborative wind symphony.

 

Our mission is to raise awareness and support for music therapy while creating opportunities for musicians of all experience levels to learn, perform, and connect through a shared passion for music. Chairs for Change strengthens both our musical community and the communities we serve.

 

In our first performance in 2026, our 50-member wind symphony raised over $600 for music therapy in a single evening while creating lasting connections and memories that extended far beyond the concert stage.
